    Do you know how you can eat smart and lose weight?

    Eating smart and losing weight is not only about what you eat, it is also about what you do not eat. You have to consider your ability to eat smart and lose weight part of your process of personal transformation. It is a lifestyle choice.

    You have to be able to say “No” to some food offers. You have to learn to have a specific plan for the different situations and circumstances that make up your day.

    This is part of the process of eating smart. You also have to constantly- remind yourself to take productive action and stop allowing distractions like negative thinking and purposeless action take away your focus and keep you from achieving your daily goals. It also means that you check the factors that can distract you from your daily mini-goals for healthy eating.

    You have to be aware of the different distractions that may occur throughout the year. Birthday parties, graduation ceremonies, weddings, holidays and anniversaries occur throughout the year and may disrupt your well-crafted weight loss plans unless you take proactive action. How can you do this? Simply eat a bowl of strawberries and blueberries with an apple or orange before I go for a party. What is the advantage?

    The advantage is that when you would get to the party, you wont be as hungry that you eat without control. Secondly it allows you to selectively focus on the healthier food options offered at the party rather than making choices based on my cravings. This way I am able to avoid packing extra weight and still have a good time at the party. This is part of the process of eating smart and losing weight.
